Re: Network rendering set up
Oh, just thinking about it, would it maybe be possible to have 2 GPU in our main workstation and when setting up the octane settings to disable the one card for rendering ? So that when we start a network render we have that one GPU disabled? Maybe we could then start another instance of C4D and ...

Re: Network rendering set up
Hi Beppe, do you know if it is possible to also use just remote nodes for rendering without using the actual workstation that send the job? We have a project where we want to keep working on our main workstation and send the render jobs off to our two connected render stations. They show up perfect ...

Re: Network rendering set up
Hi Michael,
please consider that distributed rendering solutions can only be used on final rendering, while the beauty of Octane Network rendering is that the Network power can be used in any phase, from scene editing to final rendering, speeding up a lot the entire workflow, and also on single ...

Hi Ahmet,
I know its an old release and maybe something too much to ask, but is there a chance that you could add R2023 build to this version? This is teh last version we got downgraded to after the whole subscription model started and we would love to use the 2020 version with our latest cinema ...

Hi Ahmet,
thanks once again for this quick update of the plugin - so far it works great, no issues. We do however run into a small issue that i feel has been addressed before and I think was not yet working with Octane in general.

Re: Cinema 4D - OctaneX PR11 builds
Ok, so we finally used the unlocks in our Otoy account in order to get the license released. I guess we installed the old octane version under Catalina and then upgraded without releasing license (even though it should have been released anyway, when the app is closed, so not sure how this is all ...

Re: Cinema 4D - OctaneX PR11 builds
Hi guys, have a quick question about a licensing issue we just encountered. So we downloaded the Octane X version from March 24th and played with it on our old Mac Pro. Now we just upgraded the machine to Big Sur and wanted to play with the new Big Sur release to see if there is any improvement, but ...

Re: OctaneX Studio/Enterprise PR7 for BigSur
Hi Bepe,
thanks for the graph, thats really helpful. I finally had time to run the test on our 16" MacBook Pro and crazy enough it is faster than our MacPro :-)
But I guess it makes sense, since even the mobile version of the Radeon Pro 5300M is faster than the old and ailing D500.
