Thanks so much for the answer. I plan to buy all of the shaders once I have learned to push it as far as I can go.
Off to purchase a big multi-drive bay to finally organize all of my runtime folders!

Re: What's the best bang for the buck pair of cards currently?
It sounds like adding another 770 4gb might be the cheapest acceptable option at that rate!

What's the best bang for the buck pair of cards currently?
Hi. When I bought Octane 2 years ago, I bought a nvidia 770 4gb card to go with it. I am wondering if there have been significant changes in the graphics cards that could replace this card for a good price? I just checked, and my card still costs $449. Would an additional card need to match, or ...

Where to begin?
Hi. I am a newbie. I used 1.x for awhile and now I am moving to 2.x (whatever is current as soon as my payment goes through). I was sort of frustrated with getting the results I liked with 1.x but I could see the potential. It really was difficult to adjust lighting...it never seemed like the ...

Re: OctaneRender® for Poser (Windows) - build 1.20.2 [TEST]
Would there be the ability to add lights directly in the plugin anytime soon? I know I'm new, but I don't think that ability exists currently.
Also, if there was some sort of gizmo control system that could be added for emitters, in order to manipulate the emitters directly, possibly by showing ...

Yes I was able to get my first render done without the manual...that's a testament to useability! Looking forward to this a lot!

Re: What's your Poser/Plugin/Standalone workflow?
Thanks for that input. It will save me some time for sure. Octane is what made me dust off Poser after several years of being out of 3d. And of course, now I'm planning a new multi gpu build. Now if NVidia will just make a mother board with a 770 onboard.

Re: What's your Poser/Plugin/Standalone workflow?
Yes, I'm reading that. I was wondering if people preferred to work in the standalone via some sort of "sent to standalone" command.

What's your Poser/Plugin/Standalone workflow?
Hi. I just installed a 7704gb last night, and purchased and installed Octane. My question is this: do most of you simply use the plugin to render, or do you move the file to the standalone version? I'm trying to get up to speed in a hurry as I use Poser for court visualization, and I have a case ...

I just joined you guys! Will octane work with vue via c4d?
Just wondering if octane would render vue scenes through cinema 4d using xtreme?
