Hi All,
I'm having the same problem,
I have double checked materials, all are octane materials, stopped using denoiser, updated nvidia drivers, cleaned scene as much as possible, updated octane plugin and standalone to latest version. (using enterprise version) stopped using any other programs ...

Re: live viewer and picture viewer rendering different times
Gentleman thank you very much for replying I know everyone is busier with more important topics, but thank you.
I did somewhere post on my second comment the following

Re: live viewer and picture viewer rendering different times
Hi again,
Any ideas anyone? This is so frustrating I have tried almost everything I can think of, to render the same time as Live Viewer as in Picture Viewer.
25 seconds it takes in LV and 1:40 in PV WTF!! file seems to be setup as should be.

Re: live viewer and picture viewer rendering different times
Hi Aoktar,
Thanks again, I have played around with a few settings I managed to reduce my render times per frame in PV by eliminating the alpha channel, and alpha shadows in pathtracing to a approx. a 1.40, which on LV render at 25 sec. I eliminated the HDR image which made no major difference ...

Re: live viewer and picture viewer rendering different times
Hi Aoktar,
Very new to your plugin and octane in general, great work btw.
Ok I realized that I am rendering at 1920 x 1080 32 bit linear workflow with a depth multipass, should of added that in the first post  . This obviously affects the render times I presume?
attached is the file tested ...

live viewer and picture viewer rendering different times
HI all,
Firstly apologies if this has been answered or posted before, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. Why does the live viewer render much faster than the Picture viewer, I setup a scene and love the results eg. 30 seconds with 4 GPU's (2x Titans & 2x 780 TI)I get in the live viewer but then ...

Re: Wildly different results from same project file
Hi Dotcommer,
I downloaded Beeples file (the same one as you took screen grabs of) and I notice they are set to render at 64000 samples which on my machine (2x 780ti 3gb and one Titan 6gb) is a seriously slow process, the scene without octane took 2.03 mins where one frame at 1920 x 1080 took ...

Displacement texture projection problem
HI,
Please excuse my ignorance as I'm only an intermediate user of octane and 3D,
Every time I use the displacement and chose any type of projection I come across the following problem.
the projection type, no matter which I choose (except flat, but not the desired effect I need. ) cuts the seams ...

Version still displays 1.52 version
Hi All,
I have been updated sacredly and even though I delete the older version Octane render still displays a much older version, I have deleted the older files in the plugin folder, It doesn't seem to be affecting the renders though; just really bugging me, what have I missed?
