liveDB/LocalDB

This is the 5th time I try to work with Octane for modo.
all times I deleted everything as I could not load a material from live or Local DB i have already in my computer with materials I have created on blender or Daz3d,
Also i cant even save a material in modo, how is this stable ? can't do even the simplest things.
Can someone chime and enlight me , cause i feel dump, off course the paths are fine as I can see local and Live Database with no problem. Import do nothing at all.

- OctaneRender Prime for Modo version 2025.3.0.206
- Operating System Windows 11
- Amount of RAM 32 GB
- Graphics Card(s) - model RTX 970 Super
- Nvidia driver version 581.29 Studio driver

Hi Konstantinos
The PRIME version of Octane does not support the LiveDb. However the LocalDb should still work. Can you show some screenshots that demonstrate the problem?

Ok got it, only blender and daz light wave unity and unreal have full functioning 1 GPU prime licence.
But believe me when I say even the local db do nothing,as of screenshots they show nothing,you press import and nothing happens, so nothing to see there
Anyway, octane prime local and live databases works fine on all programs who have prime support.
Anyway thanks for your time.

The Modo PRIME plugin should support all Octane Prime features. If I click the "Import" button on the OctaneRender panel, I get the "Octane DB" panel showing with the LocalDb and LiveDb tabs (the LiveDb tab is disabled). So this appears to be working for me. The LocalDb tab should display all the materials that appear in Octane Standalone or other Octane plugins.

Those are the specs for Prime license, and there is no mention of on-line database limitation.
I think you are missleaded from old post in forums, maybe you need to reconsider or ask official channel.

My apologies - you are correct - the Prime version of the Modo plugin DOES include the LiveDb. This must have changed at some point without me catching it. You can see in the Modo plugin you can select a LocalDb or LiveDb material, however the Import option does not work. I will ensure the LocalDb and LiveDb are working in the next release of the plugin.
