As nice as the render results with octane are amount of bugs and the efforts and workarounds on blender especially on osx are simply to much. Anybody knows if the cinema4d addon is a more stable and has more development resources ?

What if you ignore the message and install it anyway?

I do not own a Mac, so I only use Blender on Windows, where it shows to be very good. I'm sorry you're experiencing issues with the OSX version. I'll investigate on the situation.interelectronix wrote:As nice as the render results with octane are amount of bugs and the efforts and workarounds on blender especially on osx are simply to much. The notarization was removed so we could verify whether the notarization itself prevents the integration of third-party add-ons.
We'll bring back the notarization process in the coming version.
The issue, for now, can be fixed "manually".
Please go into System Preference > Privacy & Security, under the security section, and hit "Open Anyway" to open Blender App.
I hope this helps.

That option no longer exists in OX 15.0
