I also noticed, that when you open the device settings and tick or untick the Denoise option, it re-starts the rendering. This didn't happen in previous versions.
But I guess that OR 2023.1.2 related, not the plug in (can't test it on the stand alone, as I don't have it installed, atm.)

Yes, I think this is related to the Octane render engine, and not the plugin.Erick wrote:I also noticed, that when you open the device settings and tick or untick the Denoise option, it re-starts the rendering. This didn't happen in previous versions.

I have updated the installers at the top of this thread with:
2023.1.3.124
- Compiled with Octane 2023.1.3
- When exporting a scene to ORBX, the Material nodes will have the mesh name pre-pended to the material name to make it easier to identify which mesh node that material node belongs to
Thanks

Following is an early TEST build for the Octane 2024.1 version of the plugin.
https://render.otoy.com/customerdownloa ... STUDIO.exe
2024.1.0.125
- Compiled with Octane 2024.1 Beta 2
- Added all the 2024.1 features from viewtopic.php?f=33&t=82267
- Added the Output AOVs "Apply LUT", "Open Image Denoise", "Texture" and "Dither for 8-bit display" nodes from Octane 2024.1
- The "Output AOV"->"Apply Imager and Post Processing" node from Octane 2024.1 has not been added to the plugin
- The "Value"->"Time" node from Octane 2024.1 has not been added to the plugin
- Saved images from an animation are now saved with a filename in the format "[Poser scene filename]_[frame number].png/exr"
- When exporting a material, the default filename is now the prop/figurename followed by the material name
Any issues, please let me know.
Thanks
Paul

Hey Paul thanks again for the update. But I'm having a strange issue with the plug in. It's random but at certain moments I don't get any images exported when rendering animation sequences. Everything renders in viewport and the render counter and ETA works just fine. But when I look into the folder I see no images being exported. And I also had occasionally when rendering a 250 frame sequence. After 161 frames there are no more images exported. The rendering engine is functionally visibly like it should rendering a frame. But no images get saved to the designated folder.face_off wrote:Following is an early TEST build for the Octane 2024.1 version of the plugin.

I've gotten a similar issue with past versions under the following situations:
(1) I have run out of room on the drive I want to save frames to.
(2) The name of the destination folder has changed but that was not updated in the Plugin animation tab.
In those cases the render engine rendered just fine and ticked forward with each frame, but no new frame file would be saved (which makes sense) and no error message would pop up (which makes less sense).

Yeah I understand that. But I have plenty of space on my drive. And the destination never changed. I had to close the plug in and reopen it. So it can function properly again.Petec wrote:

Hmm interesting. Well, I hope it gets sorted out, as I can understand how that would be quite frustrating to experience.spartan00j wrote: Yeah I understand that.
