Nice, thank you! Yesterday i had another weird behavior. The render restarted every time i changed the save image format. This did not happen before.
I have not been able to re-produce this issue.Nice, thank you! Yesterday i had another weird behavior. The render restarted every time i changed the save image format. This did not happen before.
This is an Octane issue, which OTOY are fixing in the next release of Octane.here is another Issue. Loading Volumes as Proxy does work great, but it produces error messages in the log
Thanks
Paul

I have updated the installers at the top of this thread with:
2020.2.3.170
- Fixed issue where non-UV projections were not working correctly
- Resolved issue where the Save Render button would not allow the Colorspace or OCIO Look to be set
- Added the Distribution property to Area, Point and Spot lights. You can drag the Distribution property onto the Schematic to attach a Spotlight Texture to it
I am still having issues building the plugin for Linux/Modo15, so there is not yet a new Linux release - sorry.
Thanks

Ok, i tried it and it works really really well! The only problem is, after setting the light up, octane won't update the viewport. But that's not a big deal. Thanks again!
Saving exr 16 + colorspace - ACES - ACEScg is crashing Modo 15... Win 10 rtx3090
Can you provide more details on this please so I can try to reproduce it?The only problem is, after setting the light up, octane won't update the viewport.
I couldn't reproduce this crash. Are other Colorspaces saving OK? Which OCIO Config are you using? Have you tried deleting your MODO.CFG?Saving exr 16 + colorspace - ACES - ACEScg is crashing Modo 15... Win 10 rtx3090

Im not getting a modo crash, but it fails to save anything on a new scene and shows a log error.face_off wrote:I couldn't reproduce this crash. Are other Colorspaces saving OK? 1. Start a NEW scene
2. Make sure the ACES config is set in Octane prefs
3. Start an octane render
4. Click save image (save format = "EXR 16 bit", colorspace = "ACES - ACEScg") and press save
After saving, nothing gets saved to disk. If you open the octane log you see this:
Code: Select all

I have now added Linux installers for the plugin at the top of this thread.
Thanks
