Fog with 3ds max plugin... how??

Hi guys!

Anybody knows how to create fog (volumetric light) on the octane 3ds max plugin?

Tried everything but cant reproduce this photo...

Hi Layla,

The principals are the same as doing this in the standalone.

In short, you need the camera outside the fog volume, then apply an index 1.0 specular material with no reflection onto the volume, and add some scattering to it.

Unfortunately, i cannot reproduce that effect here...
If it´s not too much trouble, could you please post an example scene with a few basic elements, just to see how that works?
