in octane standalone :
- a simple but working keyframing / graph editor to be able to animate shader parameter , light intensity , camera f-stop, directly.
- an option to choose horizontal layout for node graph instead of vertical, in order to get more readability of the input / ouput pin of each node.

omg yes! This is absolutely insane. I've been locked out of octane for days because of this. Some serious refunds/discounts need to be issued until they get this fixed. Not being able to use software that you bought is absurd. It's not like you can just tell your client "the company I bought my software from isn't letting me use it to finish your project".Lutzyy wrote:Maybe fix your unlocking and licensing system. I've moved my personal software to Redshift and now where I work, we are cancelling 2 licenses and moving to Redshift.
Yes, I know how to unlock properly. It works correctly 10% of the time..

Some improvements I would like to see. The list order is random.
1. Denoised shadow passes, matte passes and light passes and other passes that need denoising.
2. Fast denoiser that doesn't slow down rendering up to two times and makes viewport lagging.
3. AO pass that considers transparent objects.
4. Improved imager, lens and post effects that are on pair with engines like RS or V-ray.
5. Modern interface for Standalone. It's 2023 and your app looks quite outdated.
6. Modern web forums that support mobile devices properly. Again it's 2023 and most of us use mobile devices on daily basis.

Good news for at least that part:J.C wrote: 1. (...) light passes and other passes that need denoising.

It's quite dependent to one's hardware. Have you considered the sub-sampling option? More often than not overlooked.J.C wrote: 2. Fast denoiser that doesn't slow down rendering up to two times and makes viewport lagging.
