Hi Karba
With this new version i am facing below problems..
1. i m not able to get render view-port done (it is showing black..)
2. when i was using previous version 1.5a, i that on view poet 3 buildings were open and when i turn 4th building whole building turns to black and at some places there colors also changes.
The same project is running very stable and smoothly with 1.20. and it is rendering in 3 min with full HD quality 1200 samples
pixelsolution

Hey Karba,
Background image works great - any possibility of being able to use animated sequences? It always shows the first image of a loaded AVI.
Looks like there is a problem with matte material.
This is with normal diffuse floor :
this with matte checked on floor
teapots should still receive the bounced light and reflections of the floor like in the above image.

hi Karba, thanks so much for the diligent work on the Max plugin, any idea when the Maya one will be ready? Maya seems stuck on the 1.33 version, and max is already at 1.53

I am not a right person to ask. Please ask JimStar. Hi is the Maya plugin developer.

I've got a black vieport (with exported camera) too, curious why..
(it's no problem to hook extra cam & navigate around) just leaving feedback.

We made this change because of this issue:

Here is an explanation how it works now:

In a nutshell: You have to use a background that matches at least roughly the backplate you want to use later for compositing, which will then camera mapped onto the matte surface and used for secondary rays i.e. reflections/refractions.
