OSX issues.
Hi there Aoktar, thanks for including the OSX release this round.
Currently, Octane is not picking up any Cuda compatible cards for 2020XB2 on my system. ( 2019 etc are all fine with the current setup - sees the cards all fine).
Just wanted to check if theres some new requirement in this release I'm unaware of.
I have cuda 9.1 drivers ( 387.178)
nvidia drivers 378.05.05.25f01
all up to date for my OS. which is Sierra 10.12.6
happening in c4d r21 and r19 ( up to date)
Any thoughts much appreciated.

2020 works perfectly here under High Sierra 10.13.6 and CUDA 410.130.
Probably you are forced to upgrade to High Sierra

I do not ask stupid questions every 5 minutes. I've been here too long.
Who else do I need to ask about the announced new features 2020.1 if even core dev are silent how they work?
Are they just gone (Vectron Volumes)?

Yup, Octane 2020 requires OS 10.13. The app icon has the "No" Ghostbusters symbol across it under OS 10.12, and gives this warning when you try to launch it:
Code: Select all
You can't use this version of the application
"OctaneRnder Enterprise 2020.1 XB2.app"
with this version of macOS.
You have mac OS 10.12.6. The application requires
macOS 10.13 or later.

Im a bit confused,... do we CHECK or UNCHECK this box to use C4D shaders?
The wording suggests that when the box is checked we are using OSL instead of C4D
Also, do we CHECK or UNCHECK 'Enable C4D Shader Baking ?
Having this checked suggests that we are still baking noises instead of making them procedural

hi ahmet.
thanks a lot for the latest version!

what i figured out today: OR crashes C4D immediatly when i try to export a DEM_EARTH Object. it works without any trouble with the latest stable OR 2019.1.5

Hi! I don't have DEM, so how can I try? Maybe export it as ORBX and try or convert to polygon, also send bugreport.zip. Give more idea how it happen
