The results look wonderful! Could this be ported to a standalone utility? how difficult would it be to transform the .txt files onto .csv ones?

I improved mScatter and will start working on C++ conversion for standalone.
Updates are
1. memory optimisation -> much faster.
2. ability to populate between Object mesh points and fitting to triangle surfaces of object mesh
3. ability to import any obj object and create heightmap from it. Then I draw my scattered instances on this heightmap. The actual obj coordinates are used for the instance coordinates.

All this allows for huge and dense scattering.

Here is the first render with the new version.I especially like the grass that is just brute force scattered everywhere, even behind the trees. Total instance count is ~ 6000000!
All on my tiny gtx760m. Render is pmc.

and graded. i like this.

Will publish the standalone mscatter for free once it is done in C++. With the obj import it can do any objects now, not just terrains.
