That's the deal when entering the professional industry and working within a company or teams across the globes (in most cases, at least). I've been there myself. It's refreshing to see awareness in regard to "render speed" not being the highest priority. While sampling improvements is on-going (one could probably say "never ending"), it's often a matter of computational power.

If one could go Linux with Octane, it would be an all-aspects beneficial decision. Even if the differences are not drastically apart, the Linux experience and bare-bone OS intended for professional usage and the computational advantages that come with it is not negligible.
