Hello all. Im having an issue with my nvidia driver crashing a bit too often during renders. I have evga gtx 780 6gb for rendering and a gainward gtx 750 for viewport. Windows 10. Asus x99 motherboard. Also, im a little concerned renders are maybe taking longer than they should, i dont know about this, but the nvidia driver crashing definitely going to be a problem because I need to set it to render overnight and if it crashes the octane server has to be rebooted and there will be no one awake to restart it therefore making my animation rendering not possible.
I know everyone is first going to ask for an error code or error report which I dont know where to find, let me know where to find this and any other suggestions let me know, i can also provide scene(s) i am working on if needed.
let me know
thanks

Nvidia driver crash - slow renders
This is interesting. I also have a Asus x99 professional motherboard and since the upgrade I get bluescreens from a crashing Nvidia driver or one of my four GPU just hook out and I have three left until i restart my workstation.
Never had a blue screens with my other rig for over five years.

I am noticing that on higher resolution renders im getting crashing after about 9 frames into my animation. not good., dont know if pathtracing vs direct lighting making a difference. as for x99 motherboard this really sucks because i just built this computer custom brand new specifically for gpu rendering, and is it turning out this motherboard is no good?
ugh.
ugh.
Try Nvidia driver 358.50 as per the link in my signature below.
