I know some Python but how do I go about learning how to convert materials specifically for Octane?
Basically I have a lot of older Octane materials I want to convert to a tri-planer material...So it literally grabs each image texture and adds in a tri-planer node in between, then adds the projection mode...Also adds a transform and pipes that into the tri-planer for each image texture slot. I am assuming this is possible as there is a function to convert standard to Octane..
Is this particular example possible, and are there any resources to find out what python I can use alongside Octane to create automation scripts for materials such as this one?
Would really appreciate anything that may help.
Thanks.
