Plugin's version string consists of two parts - version of Octane core integrated into this version of plugin, and the version of the plugin itself.
Format: v<Octane engine version> - <plugin version>

- Unlocked the plugin's feature I've implemented a long time ago, responsible for loading the vertex velocities channel data into Octane rendering core if a velocity channel is present in an object of interest and if this channel is filled with a correct data by this object. This will not work for any 3ds Max (or thirdparty plugins) objects that do not have velocity channel exposed or fill it with faulty data (I've not seen the ones that do it correctly so far, perhaps you will find some). You can now find "Velocity channel ID" field in "Octane properties" of objects. Loading of velocity channel data into the Octane rendering core is disabled if this field has value less than "2" ('cause channel "0" is always "vertex colors" and channel "1" is a first UV channel).

Well... i can't render sequences to exr properly... the pixels are clamped around 1 (again...)

See attachment.. this was my formula for version 11.09. As you can see on the Max Frame Buffer the pixels are above 1... (7, 5, 2 in value)

I open the file in 11.09 and it renders like this.. which is pefect.
I install 11.12 or 11.11 , render the file... => all clamped or clipped around 1.

I install again 11.09.. and it renders perfect like this attachment..

what am i doing wrong? I tried using acescg and it's the same..

Thanks for reporting this issue.
There seems to be 2 problems in 11.11/11.12, indeed.
First the image displayed has rgb values limited to ~1.0, and saving as 3dsmax OpenEXR or any other format will still use those limited values.
Second problem, when saving as Octane EXR, there can be some mismatch in the color space name, when using an ocio config, that prevent the saving..
The only work around I found for now is to disable the ocio config, and save with Octane EXR (in Kernel/ Passes output setup : 'Save all render passes as a single EXR')
Sorry about that.
I'll investigate and try to have a quick fix soon.

After further testing with 11.12, it's not a bug in converting the rendered image to 3dsmax image, but just depends of the ocio / color space settings..
The default sRGB seems to be limited to the 0, 1.0 range, so to get higher values, you need to use another color space.
The way OCIO works has changed from version 2020.2.3 to 2020.2.4 or 5 ..

I tested with those settings:
Aces 1.0.3 config.ocio ,
Octane Color space : Linear sRGB
OCIO Color space : scene_linear (also 'Utility - Linear - sRGB' )

OCIO view: ACES : Raw
OCIO look : None

Kernel / Passes output setup:
Color Space: data (Utility - Raw)
OCIO look : None

Setting the Save file to an OpenExr, as well as turning on the 'Save all render passes as a single EXR' will create 2 EXR files, (3dsMax exr and Octane exr), both similar, and having rgb values way > 1.0 with a strong light scene.

The only issue I see is the failure to save octane exr with the 3 default color spaces (Linear sRGB, Aces2065-1 and AcesCg)... I'll release a fix for that soon.
(exr color space from the ocio config works fine)
