Here is another try but I got alot of fire flies, I didn't used hdr to light as it produces much more fire flies, this is probably due to the high reflective shaders used, I post it anyway.

great
it's probably the glass material.
i think it still has a small issue with total internal reflection,
and we also need MLT for scenes like this.
i'm starting development of MLT once the current stuff is ready/debugged

Hi Solo,
Don't remember exactly and I didn't capture that information, considering octane stops the rendering after a predefined amount of samples and I'm quite sure I've set this parm a bit higher then default, I would say 20 min but maybe less. This alpha version is not yet optimized for glass rendering, so the rendering time will be less in the future.

Thanks for the reply, I do understand that Octane is still in closed beta and there needs to be a lot of optimising before releasing a public beta, these little glitches will be sorted out.
What kind of controls do you have with glass materials? like IOR, coefficients, etc

Yes, once MLT is implemented those glitches will disappear.
For now (Alpha version) glass materials has IOR, reflection, transmission and smooth controls
