The Hydra plugin is another project, not related directly to the main Houdini plugin, so it will be released separately. Of course, the main plugin will include all the needed features to let the Hydra plugin work inside Solaris, like all the shading VOP nodes. In any case, the current 2019.1.4.0 Houdini plugin build already has a proper plugin build for Houdini 18.0.

Denoising doesn't work at all, just kills any post-processing effetcs.

You talk about C4d noises but I don't see any download link for C4D Plugin in Version 2020?

11 Posts and none of them positive. Wow! I think it looks very promising. The OSL library seems to be very nice and you can use the codes also in the current stable release.

Price confusion..

I have 4 octane v4 licenses... perpetual... do I understand correctly that in order to update all 4 to 2020, I need to shell out 2000EUROS?!?! FOR 1 YEAR??

PLEASE someone explain!
