Hi,

The latest and previous versions hang on waiting for image (for me).

I've had this before and just needed to update my Nvidia driver, but it hasn't worked this time.

Any ideas what the problem might be?

Thanks.

The only things I can think of, you probably tried:
restart the computer after the install

if that doesn't work,
uninstall and reinstall all the relevant software.

Thanks, protovu - I've tried this a couple of times, but still no luck.

Hi. I've got the same problem. I installed "OctaneServer_Prime_2020.2.1_23.3_xb" + "Blender_Octane_Edition_2020.2.1_23.3_xb" + "cudnn_8_0_4_win", but Octane doesn't want to know how to render.
I tried to restart the computer (i7-8850h 32Gb Quadro P3200 Win10pro).
Sign out + Sign In (2 accounts)
Nothing, it doesn't work.
Octane server is active, but Blender can't even enter Octane settings (Device Preferences, Network ... Activation state)
If I start the render it always remains on "WAITING FOR IMAGE".
I just have to think that Octane's server hates veteran users who still use perpetual licenses 4.05. :(

Maybe relevant, maybe not, but I went through similar hell following a Windows update.......twice.

Help, this would be a serious problem. But the strange thing is that if that were the case, Octane Standalone 4.05 wouldn't work either, instead it works great.

nothing to do!
I've tried them all. I uninstalled Octane Studio 4.05
Restart the computer, start Blender Octane Version and activate octane both from blender, or from Server prime.
It will not start
I uninstalled Octane x Daz 3D Prime
Computer restarted.
Nothing, it doesn't work!
I do not know what to do.
Octane is the best rendering program, the fastest, but it wastes me a lot of time. Since I bought two sketchup plugin licenses .... forget it.
