I tried a simple test and got frustrated results... just 2 material with a sloppy created simple ball

Check out how it exports to Octane, TOTAL MESS!!! I even copy pasted the same ball 2 more times and
I get 3 different (!) balls on Octane!

Hi Synthercat, there are ~500 double faces on each sphere.
Remove doubles and recalculate normals help but still not 100 % clean mesh.
Add Edge Split modifierer, to get better mesh and may subdived 2 applied.
Blender 2.67a + Addon 1.21

Cheers, mib.
Edit: The spheres also very small, this can make problems in Octane too.

Double faces! What a rookie mistake! I can't believe I fell for that! I had tried Edge Split modifierer but didn't work due to double face I guess
