Couple of questions about the license.

Hi, Awsome software.

I am considering purchasing and just have a couple of questions.

I've read the terms and just want to clarify whether a single license allows me to install octane on my main PC and my laptop, for use just by me and not at the same time?

I'm not in the 3D industry and have no wish to be, I teach electrical theory to trainee electricians and I am creating 3D animations to help me teach electrical principles. Are there any plans for non profit educational use licenses?

I know Octane is very cheap anyway but I've got to ask as I do these animations in my own time not in college and will be purchasing from my own pocket.

Thank you.

Sorry I should have searched more thoroughly.

Found my answer to the license question in another thread.

1 Licence = 1 Machine.

Debit card in hand, see you in the forums, I'll have lots of questions but I promise to search more thoroughly next time. :D

The only caveat is that you can move the license between machines. In order to do so, you would need to deactivate the license on one machine (via the Internet), and then after a period of time (which I believe is about 30-60 minutes), you can then enable the license on another machine.

Thanks for that GeoPappas.

That brings another question then, is there a limit to how many times the license can be transfered between computers.

I purchased earlier today and for the price i'm happy regardless of the answer to that question. :D

no limit, you deactivate your license in your customer area and wait 30 minutes to activate it again in another computer, so with 1 license you can use it at work during daytime and at nights at home, yeap is that adictive, so beware,
