Solo or isolate a node

Hello, Is there a possibility that in standalone with a shortcut to isolate or solo a node for debug and fine tune? (like the function that the octane node editor has in c4d with the key "D")

we already have the render function with right click, but more art directable should be that the texture is projected in the loaded geometry and not in the shader ball, also setting an AOV or pipe the node in a different channel (e.g, the diffuse or albedo of a material) is not ideal and too many clicks to get it.

Octane in c4d already do this but I believe this is a magic arrangement of materials and nodes that happens in the background without user involvement.

or an script that does this could be helpful, Unfortunately I have no experience writing these.

Thanks.
