Hi, I'm rendering extra passes along with the beauty in a non-multi layer exr format but with the EXR half precision on to save disk space. The Main pass seems like a normal file size for 1080 rez but passes like Post are nearly 5-6 times larger yet not much different in terms of pixel data. Is it possible that the half precision toggle isn't being applied to all passes?
I see. Is that a standalone limitation? Why would it be limited to multilayer only? Having to transfer renders to clients or compers over a slow upload connection (not to mention disk space) forces me to have to manually resave all passes as 16 bit exr. Any chance this can be added to include all exr passes?
