Hi, I'm trying to animate a light emitter's intensity without having to do a full scene reload on each frame? Is this possible?
Thanks,
Shane

this is just a simple plane with octane object properties, emision enabled and a texture for the light color.

Found the solution. Using a emission material instead of object properties since those dont refresh like materials do, result is the same. Thanks anyways.

Yes, you are right. The object animated spare parameters are not updated while rendering in update mode. I will try to fix this problem at least for the light parameters in the next build.

Meanwhile as you have found, animate emission materials should work without problems.

Thanks,

The next plugin build will have a new option in the ROP node to enable the update of some of the OBJ spare parameters while rendering in update mode, like the visibility options and the emission features.
