Any specular material and fog - issue!?

Hi! :)

Any specular material (such as glass prism) does NOT contain fog but in space only.
The fog is inside the glass prism -> FALSE!
see screenshot:

Therefore, that isn't real life.

How do I eliminate fog inside the material?

nuno, if I understand You right, You have fog..& glass in that fog? if so.. Your fog should have cube with inverted normals (& fog material) where Your glass Cube is =) but You have to play around with size of these cubes as You can't have to faces in the same plane.. in that way everything will be physical - there will be no fog in the glass =)

Also, try making your emitter a single plane and placing it so that it covers the tube of the laser.
Make it so that your emitter is as simple as possible (a single plane) and that if a ray bounces down the tube of the laser it is guaranteed to hit the emitter.

Hi, Sorry, without the .ocs file I can't really test your exact scene (and you can't save the ocs with the demo).
It could very well just be that you are seeing the light that is hitting the ground/floor here, not fog inside the cube.
