dark water

hello i would like know how i can create a natural white water clear becouse mine is so dark i been used material livebd and is the same result

use the little trick of adding some opacity to the specular material of the water, for a bonus, use a texture mix in the opacity with a noise generator and put something like 0,9 and 0,6 in the values, play with the scale of the noise and you'll get fake caustics on the go.... ;)

Also, your absorption is like 0.0001, which means that most of the light is absorbed after it has passed through 0.0001m of water, more accurately: 0.1mm of water, try increasing it ;)

in the image of palms and water mirror i did this texture with the version 2.46 and i don't had problem just was an specular with the values 1.333 and nothing more i don't know why i can't do the same texture with 2.52 version

you were using an HDRI to light the scene in the first one, on the second one you are using the sun.
The noise, use a turbulence node attach it to the first slot on a mix texture node, and play with the other 2 values till it looks correct.

hi kubo is not an hdri is just the background white of the octanerender, none texture

well, doesn't matter if it's an HDRI or a white texture, same applies. The sun right now has a different aproach and as long as you don't do the opacity trick with it light won't go thru your objects.

The Sun is very blue, but without the blue sun water in not blue :)
