Has something changed in the ACES workflow in the 2025 octane/c4d versions? Nothing seems to work

I've been using ACES countless of times in Octane for the past couple of years. I haven't been rendering lately and after installing the new cinema4d + new octane, I keep getting washed out results. I've gone down the ACES rabbit hole so many times that I'm completely at a loss here, everything I know should work isn't really working.

I read about some stuff about changing C4D's native color management, and I did change it to Linear Rec 709/sRGB, that kinda helped but now everything is much more saturated than the live-viewer. It's either too washed out, or too contrasty and saturated, any big things that have changed while I took a time off?

Thanks!

Somebody got a solution for this..? Got the same issue with Cinema4D 2025 / OctaneRender 2025 + After Effects 2024.
I've tried many solutions, followed many tutorials but never achieved it. The preview in After Effects is always too washed out, or too contrasty as well.

Or Jengo_1 if you finally got the solution, would love to hear it!

Thanks,

I just tried the "normal" workflow using the latest plugin build 1.7.2 and AE 2025 and it seems to hold up fine.

I am not using the linear legacy sRGB color management here, because I don't mind the c4d color picker not looking right but otherwise it should work fine
