Help: Octane App Fails to Display Models on My iPad (M4)

Hi everyone,

I’m encountering an issue with the Octane app on my device and hoping to get some help. I have an iPad with the M4 chip, which I believe is compatible with Octane X for iPad Pro as per the official requirements. My iPad is running iPadOS 17 (or later), so the system version should meet the criteria too.

However, when I try to use the app, it fails to display models. I’ve checked that the model files are in formats supposedly supported by Octane, and I’ve also tried restarting the app and my iPad, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue? Any suggestions or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for your help!

I am also using iPad Pro M4 and had the same problem with Octane X. When I open a file from iCloud Drive, Octane sometimes does not recognize it. Copying it directly to the “On My iPad” folder works.

I think Octane X may not fully support the M4 chip or iPadOS 17, so the app does not display the model. Try updating Octane X to the latest version, if it is not stable, maybe Uninstall and reinstall the app

Hi,

OctaneX works great on iPad Pro M4, but you need iPadOS 18 or 26:
