Thanks for the update!
I’m having trouble figuring out how to properly use Decals in the latest version of the plugin.
I keep getting errors.
Here are some screenshots with the issues I’m running into:
Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Michael!
We have had some issues with the decal and have already prepped an update, but our dev is on vacation, so it'll be at least a week before a new build will drop.
In the meantime, you can download the updated decal here and drop it into the otls folder of the octane installation overwriting the current version.

Can you give that a try and see if it resolves your issue?

Thanks Dom!
I replaced the file, but unfortunately it didn’t fix the issue.
I’m still getting the same error: "No module named 'octane_utils'"

I'm so sorry, this reply totally missed me.
So I was not able to reproduce this issue.
What octane & houdini version are you on?
Could you check in your octane installation, if you can see the script folder?
Inside it should be an "octane_utils.py" file. If you don't see this, then please try installing a fresh version of octane.

Hi!
I’m on Octane 2025.1 for Houdini 20.5.550, macOS 15.4.1.
I checked — octane_utils.py is in place.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
