Any idea where this Zoom level difference comes from.
The two screenshot are just toogled between Solid View and Render View. NO Zoom level was adjusted.
Also trying to select objects in render view selects the objects in the Solid View Zoom level.

If you have "Always Use Camera Resolution" on, please turn it off for now.
If that deosn't solve the issue, please send me the scene so I can take a look. You can replace your meshes with a simple box.
Thanks!

"Always use camera resolution" does not do the trick.
When I delete all the geometry and add the default cube then the problem is gone and Works as expected
How can the geometry cause such an issue ?
I also found that the render view does not respect the settings in the focal length. the solid view does.
When I change the focal length while in render view the camera view does not change. (Yes I am looking though the camera

) when I go into solid mode then the focal length is respected.

The last time I used Octane there was a bug when using Universal Camera. Try not to use it. That bug might still be in there.

Thank you so much Andreas.
Chaning the camera type is fixing the issue.
Which camera type would you choose then ?
I also don“t see the Thin Lense in the dropdown. Am I missing something there ?

No worries. Probably sticking with "Lens or Panoramic" should be fine. I'm not an expert on different camera types. I just used the one that worked. Not sure about the Thin Lens issue. Might be one of the addon bugs. I'm not up-to-date about Octane any more.

The Universal Camera issue in the addon version was found and fixed already in 29.12:

Which version are you using? The latest one is 29.13:

My advice in general, by the way, would be to use the Universal Camera only when you specifically need some of its features. In any other case you can use the "Lens or Panoramic" (which is the Thin Lens camera) option.
