Lens effects causes render failure

Hi there,

I found that the lens effect features (Chromatic aberration or lens flare intensity) causes a render failure if higher than 0. When I reset it to 0 the LV/Render will work normal again.
Post Processing works normal. Running the latest MacOS Standalone and the latest stable C4D Plugin on my Macbook M2 Max (on 13.6).

Hi Lars,
sorry but I cannot reproduce the issue here on macOS with latest 2023.1.3 stable version, both Chromatic Aberration and Lens Flare are working as expected in both Live View and Picture Viewer:

Please go to c4d menu Extensions/Console, (Shift+F10), and share a complete screenshot of the panel, or copy paste the default console output in your answer, thanks.

Hi Beppe,

this looks pretty much the same. Only difference is I renamed the folder to "OctaneRender" to shorten the long default name in the C4D extensions. But I handled it before like that and lens flare was working.

ok, please close C4D, then change the name of the folder from "Plugins" to "plugins" in lowercase:

Hi Beppe,

changed the folder name but no difference. Been on 2023.1.2-R7 when posting this thread and updated to 2023.1.3-R2 today but the issue is still present. Think I have been on 2023.1.2-R3 before R7 and will go back for now.

Weird, I cannot reproduce the issue with both 2023.1.2-R7 and 2023.1.3-R2.

Hi Beppe,

Ricky reached out to me and we figured what's going on. When the LVs resolution is odd (non-power of 2) there will be a render failure when lens features are used. When I lock the resolution to an even number it works fine.
