First interior and question about Blender-Octane

Hi everyone,
I would like to buy Octane, but I have just one question befeore doing that, please forgive me if this topic has already been discussed in the past posts.. I use Blender as my modeling tool, and have no big troubles in exporting obj file to Octane (so I can expect even better results usign the exporter that goes with the full version of octane)... however, what if, after having imported my scene in Octane, I make some adjustments in Blender, say for example I move a chair or change the height of a lamp.. can I re-export the scene in Octane without loosing all the texture, lights, camera settings I have previously adjusted in Octane? In other words, is the Blender-Octane process flexible and easily "updateble"?

thanks
Marco

Yes, your materials will stay as you define them in Octane, as they are written in the .ocs file. For the camera you'll just have to untick "export camera" when you export again, and the one you defined in Octane won't be overwritten.

You even can set sereval Camerapositions in Octane with the Cameratarget-Node.

You only have to export the *.obj file from Blender and reload it in the Octane Object-Node.

Kind regards
Alain

thanks a lot for your answers, in fact, an hour ago I bought Octane Render... (though I suppose I'll have to wait those 12 hours that separate Italy from New Zeland... :( )
bye!

You won't be disappointed. In fact I never use the blender internal render engine. I use Octane for everything.

HUUUGE welcome to you!
As steveps3 said, you definitely won't be disappointed.
Octane changed my rendering experience and opened a brand new world of possibilities to me.
As you get along, you'll definitely see how powerful it is.
And I also never use the Blender internal renderer engine anymore = once you've tried Octane you just can't get away from it!

Looking forward to more pics from you!
