Has Otoy solved how to render objects up close and far away (hundreds of miles away) at the same time without having strange circular lines? (Ray Epsilon)

Not sure, I don't have the newest build but on my current scene it's bugging me that I need to increase ray epsilon to big numbers (I have island long 10km) to be able to use it in animation but then when I get close (camera moving from back to front of island).
IF I remember good, that was some GPU precision limitation/issue ?
