Did Octane's Render method change?

Hello. I am using the latest version of Octane 2022 on C4d 2023.
I have noticed that something about my scene renders has changed recently.
When I place objects in my scene, and when using the live viewer, it is almost as if every object or material is now reflective from the get-go.
I know this sounds confusing, but every material has an almost mirror-like look during the first few seconds of the render. It then continues to render out, and the "mirror" or reflectiveness slowly disappears.
Additionally, when rendering an image, the image would be relatively "pixelated" or noisy in terms of light until the image was rendered out the entire way. However, I now see much less noise and see these light rays or streaks across the screen instead. The screenshot of this is attached. Is this due to the Octane 2022 update, or is this due to something in my render settings?
I am using ACES color space as well as PT. Render settings are attached below too. Simultaneously, I now feel like my renders have become much more photorealistic without any changes on my part. Perhaps, I accidentally messed with a value in the settings.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!
