This started to happen very recently. Whenever I try to open LiveDB Cinema4D hangs for a while then becomes unresponsive. Is there a server side problem?

Cinema4D R21.207, Latest Octane standalone and plugin.

I have the same problem with C4d. I was able to open LiveDB only in C4d 2023 and R23. What is going on ?

Unfortunately we are unable to reproduce the issue at support, LiveDB and LocalDB are working as expected in any version of C4D and c4doctane combination we have tested

The NZ team is investigating more deeply, we keep you informed on this asap.

Hi bepeg4d Can I help you with this? Is there a internal log in c4d That I can send you? Some kind of history or log ?

Are you using latest builds? Re-download from the topics and try again.

Same problem with both current and previous builds.

There are not any changes for LiveDB related. So this could be something about your connections to Otoy servers. Check for any blockage for the plugin in firewall or antivirus softwares.

Will do. All I know is it started to happen after the server crash on 20th. I have already flushed my DNS but that didn't help.

Same problem here, it only occurs in Cinema 4D R26. LiveDB works fine in R2023.

OS: Win 11
Octane version: 2021.1.6

Please try to delete the livedb.prf file from the path C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Maxon\Maxon Cinema 4D R2X_XXXXXXX\prefs\liveDB\. Looking forward for your feedback,
