Hello! do anyone know how and why c4d hair is not giving me motion blur?
A cube seem works fine when place in the scene, but C4Dhair with instance(object) has no motion blur.

please help thanks!

I'm pretty curious as I see this post! What are you trying to do with instance object and hair and why? Please share the scene and info! Instances and hair is not working well in C4D as I can know.

Hi Aoktar, thanks for replying.
This thing u see is a spinning mop, I applied "Add Hair" on a circular spinning plate. + (instance obj on to hair)

the red cube is parenting to the spinning red plate. when I turn on motion blur, the instances object on hairs have no motion blur, u can see only the cube has motion blur.
I wonder what I did wrong?

oops! I found the problem. but I dono why?? haha

When I uncheck displacement in octane material, the motion blur works! is that a bug?

I had Displacement map for static, but if is motion blur. uncheck the displacement map solved my problem.

Hi,
about Displacement and motion blur, it is supported only with Vertex Displacement, Texture Displacement doesn't support motion blur.
Change the Displacement type to Vertex and add some subdivisions, until you see the effect you want.

I encounter a similar problem hope you guys can help.

in C4D, I simulate a bubble using emitter, then I convert the animation into alembic files.
U can see in the picture, the cube has motion blur, the bubble which is an alembic file has no motion blur.
Hope u guys can help me with this.

i have this TEST2.c4d sample. when is rendering only the cube has motion blur.. but not the bubbles

if you use a MoGraph Cloner pointing to the emitter, motion blur works in simple Transform mode: ciao,
