C4D "Composite Texture" not found on Mac!? Missing nodes.

Hi there,

I am currently working through a tutorial where the teacher is using Octane and C4D. He's working on Windows - I am working on Mac.
Every now and then, he's using an Octane "Composite Texture" which I can't find nowhere in my nodes, even if I search for the node name.
I am running C4D R23.110 and the Octane PR11 plugin.

Can anyone help me on how to find this node amongst the others node that should be in the group of the "Composite texture" node?
I can't even find the Blend material that some people are referencing throughout my Google searches...

Thanks a lot in advance.

Hi,
Composite texture is part of the new features added in 2020.2 SDK, but OctaneX is still based on 2020.1.5 SDK.
We need to wait for the next upcoming 2022.1 SDK, to have an OctaneX version based on the same SDK as CUDA.

In the meantime, the Composite Texture can be replaced with the OSL color_layers.osl node that you can find in LiveDB/OTOY/Procedural Textures/Utilities category:
