I am not able to render the scene despite having best gpu

Hi Sir,

I am trying to render a scene of nature in Octane inside Cinema 4D but I am getting crashes and errors again and again :(

I have 3090 with 24 gb, 3070 and 3060 ti with 8 gb along with 3060 with 12 gb memory/vram

I recently moved to Octane from Redshift to get good exterior renders, it did create great visuals but I am not able to render out my scene.

It is showing errors (check attached images).

I also have 128 gb RAM installed if I need any help of Out Of Core.

Any help will be really appreciated :)

Thank you!

Hi,
to keep the polygons count low, it is very important to enable in c4d the Render Instance, or Multi Instance option for all the objects that support it, like MoGraph Cloners, Instance Objects, or Particle Emitters, or even 24GB of VRAM could not be enough, especially in nature scenes:

Hi bepeg4d :)

I do have multi-instance checked in mo-graph.

But still it doesn't render.

I asked support about it and they told me to change studio driver to version 471.11 and add more RAM to OOC.

And it did started the render but now new things are happening, I am rendering the scene with 1000 max samples in octane kernel setting. But my render always stops after calculating 992/1000, and clocks keeps on ticking but render stops as all gpu stops.

Any advice on this?

Please let me know :)

***And one more thing I noticed :

I don't have any object in my scene but still Octane is showing that I have used 1gb RAM already :(

Thank you!
