Strange Frame Buffer Washed Out Suddenly

Hi. It doesn't matter if I use the latest Beta versions or move back down.
I used to be able to adjust the camera Response in the modify panel but I can't get it to work any more.
My frame buffer (right click open octane viewport) is making previous scenes all look washed out compared to save images and even the viewport.
I tried converting materials, etc. and still not luck.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling various versions and it's just not working.

Any suggestions???
Thanks

Hi,

If "washed out" means log-like looking, I would suspect a double EOTF applied (more known as "~2.2 Gamma").

I am not a 3ds Max Octane user, but I believe I remember seeing 3ds Max Octane "color management" related post with a similar matter. I do not know for sure if it is a bug or "clumsiness" but it would be worth searching on the forum.

Last but not least, sharing screenshot of the result and any "color management" settings would greatly help for the troubleshooting.

Hi,
I don't know if your issue depends on OCIO introduction, or on linear gamma setting.
try to take a look at here:
