Instancing a number of objects

Hi,

I have a particle animation and a few packed variations of a mesh that I want to populate the animation with. I know how to do this on the SOP level but if I understand correctly, Octane unpacks the meshes before rendering in this case. So I think my only option is to use the Instance object node which works fine if I only want to instance one mesh but I was wondering if there's another way to accomplish what I need.

The "instance" point attribute can be used to instantiate arbitrary objects. You only need to set the right path for the object to be instanced in each point, but in any case, Octane 2020.2 supports packed geo instancing at the SOP level if you enable the "Packed Geo Instancing" option.

Thanks,
