I have C4D R21 and R23 in my system.
In R21 i'm using 4.05.R7 and in R23 i use 2020.2-RC4.
I make render tests with this versions;
in 4.05 with R21 i get 5 sec. render time
but exactly the same file and scene in R23 2020 i get nearly 16 sec.
In R23 also i can use RTX support but if i open RTX render times not improving?
What cause this issue?
How can i improve R23's performance?
I put log files with both sytems.

I don't see much valuable information in your log files, V4 log is empty. What's the content of your scene? Using info passes in this scene?

I didn't use any info passes.
My content is not very polygon extensive, really simple architectural scene.
i test almost 10 times results are same.
I just use same scene in both system same textures same lighting and nothing else, i'm very surprise to results.
I put log in attachments.

easiest way for comparing it, export your scene to ORBX and compare in V4/2020 standalones. And report it what you see.

Ok, i export my scene and open Standalone 2020 and 4.05,
in 2020.1 Standalone i get 6 sec. score, and in 4.05 Standalone also 6 sec. nothings change.

But in R21 4.05 i figure it out something wrong resolution lock/unlock feature.
Lock/Unlock doesn't work? it doesn't affect LV. Lock or unlock i get same resolution but somehow looks big and drops quality? (in attachments)
2020Stable lock/unlock feature working well but look small in LV as it's supposed to be

2020 has desktop scaling support. What you see for sizes are correct now, v4 was not supporting that.
