Reflection Pass: not correct blending

I'm trying to use the reflection pass that I have saved from Octan-passes (I've tried to use linear/linear or srgb/tonemapped with no difference), but when I try to compose my background image with the reflection the results are not what I expect.
Using as blending mode "Linear dodge (add)" as suggested in Octane Forum the reflection appears too much bright, a little better but also again too bright using Lighten mode.
So I am asking if I have missed something or what is the correct procedure for compositing the image in Photoshop ?
Thanks to all.

Hi Luca,
in Linear Add mode, the result depends on the luminosity of the background pixels.
You should have a black reflection the mirror on the floor, to have the expected result

Hi Beppe, thanks for your reply.

In this particular case (a lift configurator) I have as a background image of a mirror that reflects a medium grey.
Over this reflection, I need to have the reflection from the colored floor that depends on the user choice.

So, as you suggest, I have a double reflection that causes the blended image too bright, and the solution could be to have a real black reflection on my base image to blend in Linear Add mode with my reflection passes.
Right?

I'll do my test, thanks again.
