No Denoise for 3090 GPU

I put a new single 3090 in my pc and the denoise option seems to be down (image attached). Was previously rendering this scene with denoise on when the machine had x2 2080 ti's but now it just hangs on the first frame after rendering, unable to complete the denoise pass. Most recent (game ready, 456.55) driver installed.
Does denoiser require multiple gpu's, or is this possibly a bug with the new card?

Hi,
unfortunately v2020.1.5 has been published before RTX 3090 was available, so you have to wait the next 2020.1.6 SDK update to have the first version supporting RTX 3090, I’m sorry.
ciao Beppe

Having the same problem with a 3070 (in Blender).
When is 2020.1.6 expected?
Do I have to install my old GTX960?

2 months later and 3000 owners are still screwed.

Because supporting sdk is 2020.2 and it has serious revisions. Especially for color management and AOVs. And I'm on that to revise a lot of parts and it's not safe to use yet for any production.

3Ds Max has 2020.2 since November and Maya has 2020.2 since October.
We know that there is still a lot of work to be done on the stable version

But why aren't there any XB or RC versions for C4D?

Answered! Maybe easier to adopt in other packages

It's not "outoutrageous". Or even outrageous. New hardware breaks software all the time. Industry fact, and sometimes fixes aren't simple. There's no master manual these devs can go reference.
If you didn't expect the 3x00 family to have involve some issues the first 2-5 months you haven't learned much from history. Nvidia themselves are still fixing bugs and re-writing some of their code.
From one fellow user (me) to others here:
Chill out.

The term BLEEDING edge hardware is there for a reason.
& there is no reason to blame developers for Your decision to take risks..
