SOLVED: Issues w Octane 4.05 for C4D R19
Posted: Mon Dec 16, 2019 9:03 pm
Hello.
I´ve some issues with Octane 4 in Cinema 4D R 19.
1. Rendering a sequence of frames in rendermanager ends after one frame although there are 50 frames to render (e.g.). There´s no error message. It simply stops rendering after finishing first frame (I alraedy came to 2nd or 3rd frame but then it stops as if renderjob were done).
2. Using denoiser function causes Cinema to crash completely after it had rendered first frame succussfully and should start denoising.
Error-message: "The plugin c4dOctane-R19.cdl64 has crashed. More information...."
These issues only appear in larger scenes. In small scenes both 1. and 2. work fine.
I´ve tried different older drivers - seems to be same issues even with older drivers.
Octane 4.05 | Cinema 4D Studio R19.068
Win10 Prof. 64 bit V 10.0.18363
i7 3930 6-Core, 2 x GTX 980Ti
Drivers: tried different from NVidia: 419.67, 431.60 up and newest.
Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: The good old and general problemsolver: Copy all. Close project. Paste all in new project. Fixed those issues.
