Layer compositing black lines artifacts

Hi,
Whenever I render seperate layers you get a cutout from layer 1 in the second (back) layer.
What this gets me is a black AA line around my front layer. This isn't usable and the only way to fix this in post is to erode (nuke) / shink the background layer to fill up the black AA, but with that method I loose details in other transparant parts.
So my question is: Why does the background layer have a cutout from the first and how am I able to composit this correctly? (Ive done all the unpremultiplied / premultiplied passes before merging)
Thanks a lot
