Hello Paride,

I'm working on a boat simulation and I have an issue with foam and splashes particles animation : they stay still while the liquid is updating nicely..

Is this a known issue ?

Thank you in advance

Hi remka,
After some test, I think I've found an issue and sent to developers.
A workaround is using Octane for 3dSMax 2018 - 7.09, put foam in Target node name, then open your file in 7.11

Thanks !

Did you ask developpers how to make the Ocean mesh working with the phoenix ocean displacement texture ? I'm still having an issue there

Hi remka,
it is in developers to-do fix list.

Hell Paride,

I've put "foam" in target node name" in 7.09 and I've rendered it on 7.11 but particles are still not updating in the animation (with SHIF+Q).

What's weird is that when I'm scrolling the timeline manualy with the Octane Viewport active, the particles are updating well

Hi remKa,
you would set your scene to movable proxy.

No. We had this bug many years ago and that's why they added this checkbox. I didn't know it is not even working.

did you try to set Notify objects on render to ALL objects in render settings ?
