octane does not keep a focus

I import a file with animation from Maya to octane using maya2octane exporter,
I set focus to the scene in Octane, But when I click "Render Animation" in maya2octane it is not renderer with the focus that I set
Anyone can help?

It's not a bug in the exporter, but a problem in Octane. It will be fixed with the next test release planned this week.

Forgot to mention: What you can do in the meantime is specify the focus distance in the export plugin, which will then export it to Octane to use the right focus.

Either somehow in Maya (I don't know Maya) or by waiting for beta 2.48, which will do that for you :)

Aha,
Octane calculates the distance by build the square root from the length of the subtract result vector camera to vector target.
Clever, nice new feature ;)

You can also use the formular to calculate the distance in maya.
Maybe as expression...

is bazuka still around? We have seen last Maya Exporter on 23.11.2010 (beta v2.5). Any updates?
