Gabriele makes me notice that you are working with v1.55.
Better to perform a clean installation of an older version of Nvidia drivers.
Try with 397.93, but probably you need an older version:

I also have the "no cuda gpu's" error.
My Octane version: 4.05 standalone
GPU: GTX Titan
1. I uninstalled all drivers via DDU.
2. I opened the software without installing any driver. It worked.
3. I installed Nvidia Driver 442.19. Same problem happened again.
4. I tried several other driver versions the same problem happened in all the instances.
5. I installed 3.08 the problem is still there.

It looks like installing a driver is preventing octane to see the graphics card.

Can you help me?

v3.08 is too old, please use v4.05, and try to perform a clean installation of 419.67 Nvidia Creator Ready driver:

To perform a clean installation, please follow these steps:


Then download and run GPU-Z:

And share a screenshot from the Graphics Card tab, for all the available Nvidia GPUs, thanks:

Thank you for the instructions,
1. I installed windows 8 version of 419.67 since my OS is W8.1
2. I performed a clean installation
3. I still see the same error in Octane 4.05

This is my GPU-Z screenshot. I see that CUDA is not marked after 419.67. ( please note that just after the DDU, I was able to see CUDA ).

I clean-installed 442.19 for Windows 8.1
I ran OctaneBench_4_00c / octane.exe and received this message: No supported GPU found

Is CUDA still unchecked in the GPU-Z panel?
You need to find an Nvidia driver greater than 419.67 that works for you.
Unfortunately I don’t have other reports from Win 8.1 users, normally it is Win 7 or Win 10.

Yes CUDA is still unchecked in the GPU-Z

It is unfortunate that the problem still exists but thank you very much for your help Beppe!
