That is not latest plugin version and you might also have bad nvidia drivers, have you checked forum STICKy notes about 418.xx Nvidia drivers which brreaks Octane ?

Yes, you should update your NVIDIA drivers to the latest ones, avoiding the 418.x versions, and update also the LightWave plugin to the latest 4.02 build available.

thanks for your reply,

I am already using nVidia driver version 419.17 (for GTX 1080Ti)
Lightwave 2019.1
Octane plugin version 4.000.0.21 (Nov 16 2018)
Octane API build 4.00
Octane DLL version 4000021
Octane Standalone version 4.02

I just checked everything with Lightwave 2015.3 and having same issues.

Thanks and best regards.

You need to update the LightWave Octane plugin to the latest builds 4.02 or 2018.1. All these new NVIDIA drivers are not compatible with the older Octane versions. If you need to work with them you are going to need to revert back to older NVIDIA drivers, perhaps 417.x or older.

Thanks,
