Strange FiberFX Problem

Hi all,

I'm having the weirdest FiberFX issue at the moment.

Octane seems to 'offset' the position of the Fibers when rendering.

I did find this thread....

viewtopic.php?f=36&t=51482&p=256281&hil ... fx#p256281

That shows a solution, but it doesn't seem to work for me.

The 'hair' is made using 2 point poly chains, with Bullet dynamics applied. I thought it might be something to do with Bullet so I mdd'd the hair, but the problem still persists.

Very confusing as I've used FiberFX with Octane before but can't remember if I had the same issue or not.

Using LW2015.3 and Octane 3.08.2.0

I have a question about FFX - is octane supported End Caps function?
I'm trying to create a toothbrush bristle, but instead of bristles I get hollow tubes. Choosing the type of caps does not affect anything.

Nope, sorry. Currently, the Octane curves don't support the end caps feature. Perhaps as a workaround, you could try to instance a sphere in the curves final points.
